Objective:
- To create awareness among students on energy conservation through interactive activities and field work
- To ensure students understand the concept and importance of energy efficiency
- To ensure students practice energy efficiency despite of acting as representative to disseminate information on energy efficiency to their schoolmates, family members and friends
Programme Description: There will be 30 school programmes to be carry out within year 2014 in Peninsular Malaysia only. The programme will be held at a selected school of a particular area. Each participant will be given a programme kit, which helps them to follow through the activities. The secondary school programme is one day programme. The programme flow will educate the participants to audit their energy usage and plan on efficiency interactively.
Expected Output: At the end of the programme, participants will be able to breakdown their energy cost as well as have clear picture on energy efficiency. Continuous assessment of the programme and information dissemination can be done through the SWITCH! website.
